Drew this great sea fairy. Beautiful mysterious and dangerous like the ocean that birthed her. Really enjoyed incorporating all the different tidepool textures and shapes into this one. Letting the grainy hues interact and layer on top of each other to give that otherworldly underwater feel.

Perils & Princesses has a similar framework. Although rather than every class having different ways of dealing with reaching 0hp, different monsters inflict different curses when they cause you to hit 0.

I think it was a Nintendo Power I had that showed all the FF tactics jobs when I was big in my anime art phase. I was obsessed with the variety of designs and tried to copy all the art.

Salty skeleton pirates for #swordtember. One thing I’ve learned about practicing art over the years is to follow the inspiration while you have it. I started on the daily prompts but then hit “crustacean” and it sent me back into these salty caverns and tide pools to see what else I can uncover.

On a roll with the crusty pirate ghosts, so I’m skipping around the Swordtember prompts a bit to dig into these characters. For the “tidepool” prompt, Here’s Fang the anglerfish cursed pirate wight. Another piece for Curs of the Humpback Coast from the 2025 Appx N Jam.
