Knowing that this is the last season, I wish they didn’t have to spend as much time on Cunningham. I realize this episode is setting up and revealing his prophecy, but I would rather see Claire and Jamie.

That Benjamin Cleveland seems a bad dude…how dare he treat Claire with such disrespect!

The happy part is Ian and Rachel! Though, Rachel should probably not let Ian pick the name!

Outlander Season 8 episode 2 "Prophecies" #Outlander This is a sad and happy episode. Amy’s death is sad, though I found the book version to be more horrifying, maybe I was just prepared for it here. One minute they are having a lovely afternoon, then their lives are changed in an instant.

Touring the house and reuniting with Ian and Rachel…

I don’t love the exterior of the house, it doesn’t feel authentic to the time, but I may be mistaken. I do like the interior, it feels way more authentic to a house in the 1700’s than the previous house did.

this scene where Jamie and Claire are grieving the loss of Faith is beautifully done. Jamie is hurting, yet he is comforting Claire , so beautiful.

Outlander Season 8 episode 1 "Soul of a Rebel" #Outlander I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I do not like the Faith lived storyline. I also don’t like Claire being so upset that she impulsively murders a man, this is so out of character for Claire. But….

I still have so many feelings about this last season, I’m going to rewatch season 8… #outlander

They definitely left it open for a movie! I was surprised how many storylines they left open, so maybe, just maybe there is hope for a movie after book 10!

Charlottesville friends, this is for a beloved family in our community. They have been ordered to leave the country in a few weeks and this money will go to the appeal they are filing. If you know this family, you know what a loss this will be for all of us. Please share and donate as able.

I was critical of their first big first big house, and I am skeptical of this one. The style of the house feels out of character for this time period. HOWEVER, the interior of the house feels more authentic, so I like that.

Outlander Season 8 episode 1 "Soul of a Rebel" #Outlander Ok, had to sit with this episode for awhile, I’ll start with what I didn’t like. I am deeply disappointed with the storyline in this first episode, I hope this gets resolved soon.I especially don’t like that Jamie seems to be buying into this
