If you've been to our website lately you may have noticed that our shop looks a little (lot!) different! We're still tirelessly fine-tuning the details and adding our fave items, but if cozy, eco-friendly, hand screenprinted goods that give back to the Salish Sea are your vibe, we've got you.

We went on a search last night to see if we could cross paths with the Noocksack elk herd and it worked out! This herd is fascinating as it's a genetic mix of both native Roosevelt Elk and introduced Rocky Mountain Elk, with most of the current members having primarily Rocky Mountain Elk genes.

They're baaaaack! Every winter 10s of thousands of snow geese descend on the Skagit Valley from their nesting grounds in the Arctic to feast for the winter. We generally see them start to arrive in mid-October, but we have some early arrivals this year!

September around Puget Sound means dropping everything on a perfect day to soak up the sun and get into the mountains before the roads are closed and the rain is here. 🏔️💕

Have you ever seen these bizarre looking cylinders on the beach at low tide? They're opalescent squid egg sacs and if you look close enough in the right light you can see the individual eggs inside each cylinder. They're laid in clusters but occasionally they get dislodged and end up on shore. 🦑

Orcas have already popped up in the Hood Canal and Central Puget Sound this morning. Yesterday we had some little orca adventurers make their way all the way to the Ballard locks, so who knows where they’ll explore today! Come hang on Discord to discuss all things Salish Sea: discord.gg/ap8m2dMQXK

We're constantly trying new ideas for the shop — testing out designs, ink colors, new techniques, etc. We used to list these shirts individually, but we don't quite have time for that anymore, so instead we decided to make them available as a mystery box! www.ourwildpugetsound.com/shop/p/test-...
