A speaker inside the elevator announces, in a robotic tone “AUXILIARY POWER SYSTEMS ONLINE” “h-how?” Says the bewildered skunk from the drone. “Dude was smashing up a console, maybe they opened it by accident” “I don’t know, I don’t like this…” “Weren’t you tryin’ to talk me into it?” “No! Well, maybe, but…” Miranda steps over the threshold, with nothing happening, for now. “See? All good! Now go keep an eye on ‘em with the drone while I check this ou-HEY” She yells as the elevator door closes shut behind her, a quick insert showing Isaac issuing a lock down command on his mech-arm’s wrist. “LOCKDOWN ENGAGED” “MIRI!” The skunk yells, but before anything can happen, the jackal’s hand shoots out from the darkness, dragging a tether behind it, latching onto the drone and crushing it in its grip.
