That glitchiness looks a lot like the GPU is starting to fail. It's possible that the power outage you experienced caused enough of a surge that it zapped something. I've seen these things fail in some pretty crazy ways.

I hate everything about this. I'm so glad I deleted everything off that platform years ago. What is most unsettling to me is...what about the deceased? They can't agree nor disagree to the new terms. They do teach the fundamentals and advanced stuff, but the industrial advisory committees are saying that they must include AI shit in the courses because a lot of jobs are demanding this skill. I hate it so fucking much. I’m glad my one web dev instructor allowed me to opt out. He hates it too.

I program because I enjoy solving a puzzle. I like figuring stuff out. I even like the process of typing out the mundane, boring boilerplate shit at times. I can not and I will not let a machine code for me. That takes away the fun and the joy of creating something with my own hands.

Dropped that class. Even if the instructor replies now, it's too late. I went to browse the programming courses to replace that class and ran into several that said they make use of AI to explore how to use it in conjunction with coding and honestly my stomach dropped. Do not want. Fuck. Off.

Less than a week into the quarter and I already have an unresponsive instructor. Not a good look for him when I need to discuss my disability accommodations. I sent a follow up and if I get no good response by the end of the week I'm just straight dropping the class. I don't have time for this shit.

Well dangit. This radio telescope feed requires a Bias Tee (basically it needs to be powered), and unfortunately the software defined radio dongle my boyfriend let me use does not have that ability. Looks like I'm shopping for a new dongle. Heh heh. Dongle.

By chance do you use bleach tablets in your tanks? I had a similar issue occur though not as severe of a warping, and it turned out that the bleach tablets I had been using attacked and degraded the rubber and plastic bits and they warped enough to cause leaking.

My boyfriend audited a college course for very cheap. I had a brilliant idea to do the same at my college for a few classes I knew I would have a tough time in, basically as extra study. When I asked, they told me they charge the same price for auditing as for regular admission. Fuck me I guess. 🙃

Screenshot of Windows Defender showing the results of a virus scan in which it says it found threats. However the "threat" is the EICAR Test File which is just a text file with a specific string of text that's designed to test if an antivirus program is functioning. It's completely harmless.

Texas has suspended over 1.2 million voter registrations. Many valid voters in Texas have found their voter registrations were somehow canceled when they checked. Check your registration here and fix it immediately - Texas doesn't always honor provisional ballots cast on election day.
