Best friends I've ever had, present company excepted. Only one still with me is the 17 year old grey diluted calico on the left. Blonde dog died at 18, beagle at 15, marmalade cat at 17. Years and years of pure love, then the grief of losing them.

Memories of evenings past.
Two long haired cats (one grey diluted calico and one marmalade), one blonde collie/Labrador cross, and a beagle on Joanne's bed. Pure joy and a lot of hair.
Those were the days when i would wash the sheets several times a week.

University in the 1980s: orientation week sloshing with alcohol and hypersexualised “games.” Long before I had language for it, the pressure to be a good sport and play along was palpable. Young women complied with nervous smiles. I was scared and embarassed. I hid out or went home.

All true, and deserved. Admiring Carney’s extraordinary performance must not take the pressure off the Opposition, both the Conservatives and the NDP. Canada must protect itself from climate crisis and the undermining of our social safety net, from pensions to healthcare to worker rights.

Statement - Gavin Bazunu

Representing my country means everything to me. I have the utmost respect for every single one of my team mates, the Manager, his staff and the Irish people

However I have reached a decision that I have hot taken lightly. I am a man of strong faith and try my best to be a person of character and principle therefore 1 feel it would be wrong to participate in the upcoming fixtures against Israel.

My decision is based purely upon my personal belief that the killing of innocent people is wrong.

It is important to note that my stance is not in opposition of the Israeli people or the Jewish community but against the atrocities in the region.

There are few times where you get a chance ir ife to stand up for something bigger and strongly believe that this is one of them
