Had a non-alcoholic gin and tonic today. Really good. Pretty close to the real thing. Herby, bitter, the kind of drink that makes you want to go out there and colonize, but you can overcome that impulse with willpower.

I'm in it for the bitter taste. The older you get, the more you crave bitter/dry things. Almost no soda offers me something like that except for some Italian drinks, but those are imported and expensive. When I say "NA gin and tonic," I basically mean "bitter, herby soda."

Because I am BUZZING after binging the show in one day. It's a little like "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power." I absolutely loved that show but I recognize that I'm not its target audience and that queer people get so much more out of it, which fills me with jealousy. "Lanterns" was like that too.

I like bitter/dry things and carbonated drinks. My mouth craves it. NA drinks and some imported Italian sodas are my only options. But we thankfully live in a golden age of NA beverages. Rivers of bitter nectar. I am blessed.
