Couldn't decide how to start this year's artfight, super simple or super complex. Decided to do both for sharkfinn's eridian OC known as Prism. You should go follow them here: www.tumblr.com/sharkfiinn/ #artfight #artfight2026 #phm

Two side-by-side depictions of an alien creature known as an eridian. This one in particular is named 'Prism' due to their bismuth-like appearance.

On the left is a simplified version, much like a stick-figure version, featuring their five legs and their main body. On the right is a over-realistic version, containing almost too many crystals of bismuth lining their surface.

Annotated below the left and right is "RTX off" and "RTX on" respectively. The joke is that RTX, a computer hardware tool specialising in graphics, is over-complicating the look, to the point where the 'simplified' version looks more pleasing.

Okay I can't hide it any longer, I'm so fucking obsessed with Project Hail Mary it's not even funny. Like, I didn't get the whole "he's literally me" meme until now, and omfg Grace being seen as Aroace by the community has been so fucking validating. I don't think I've been this hyperfixated before.

Who knew a teacher and a rock fishing for bacteria would be so fucking intense. Like I'm not even kidding it's literally peak cinema. Unrelated but go and watch Project Hail Mary. It's awesome, statement.

April fools huh? I would do something witty, however everyone's used to getting bamboozled and so you lot just expect it to happen. Well SURPRISE! The joke is that I'm going to be sincere today! So that begs the question... what now?

Eeeeeeyy the crested spinosaurid has finally come out, seems like it's not as coastal as with other spinosaur species, but fascinating nonetheless

🎨Share your OC boundaries 🖌️Fanart? Fuck yeah! 💞Shipping? Platonic sure, romantic I would ask first. 🖋️Fanfiction? Anything aside from romance is fine, ask first for romance. ♊️Draw their OCs with yours? Hell yeah! 🔞NSFW? Please dont. 🤖AI? While I cannot stop you, you're dead to me if you do.

Yeah no. Until now I used my twitter just to view tweets of people who hadn't moved over. Going to private my account, delete all my posts, and not use it anymore. I would delete the account but after 30 days anyone would be able to use the account name, so may as well just starve the site lmfao.

Well well well, here's to a new year! Me from 15 years ago would've considered this year such a futuristic time, but now it's here and it's... well hopefully it'll be a better one.

Well well well, if it isn't the 10th anniversary of a Pixar film whose development would send me on a near decade rabbit hole. While I don't have anything to show from that, I've spend the past few hours making one of those old tribute videos haha. Enjoy! www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLga...

LEGALLY YOU SHOULD BE SENDING INVOICES FOR GOODS AND SERVICES. IF YOU TAKE COMMISSIONS ON PAYPAL DO NOT USE FRIENDS AND FAMILY. YOU ARE NOT SAFE, YOUR CLIENT IS NOT SAFE. THIS IS A FORM OF TAX EVASION. YOU SHOULD BE USING INVOICES.

Artists! Show an old piece that you still love! Made this back in 2023 for a good friend of mine, @phisnom.com, using a model of him created by me, and a model of me created by him. The original image is twice as big, had to downscale it here for bluesky. Even today I look back on this one fondly.

The image depicts a large cave, lit up by green-florescent shrooms and a row of lamps lining the walls. In the middle of the cave is a small rock formation in the form of a table, which has numerous amounts of food and presents, along with balloons that string out the words "Happy Birthday!". Beside the table are two individuals, one is a toxic slime creature who goes by the name Phi, and the other is a utahraptor-like alien who goes by the name Ostimeus.

Alrighty it's #ArtFight2025, for my first attack I have gone after @chickensnpies.bsky.social! Wanted to go for a 2d-ish style this time. Here's a look at Josh from Accounting having adopted a loyal (and smart) Beibeille pet- what do you mean it wants to take over the world? Ah it's fine... surely.

Damn, 25 years revolving around our blazing star since birth. Fun fact, our solar system moves 230 km/s (828,000 km/h or 514,000 mph) across the galaxy. Despite this, our sun has only moved 0.019 LY in that 25 years. Our galaxy has also moved 0.009 light years towards Andromeda in that same time!

Doing an art trade with @tigerarainbowra.bsky.social, and right now Tigera's in a Waluigi hyperfixation so I thought why not have him do a JoJo pose. Head is from a game model as I found it difficult to get it to look right, but hopefully it's turned out great! #Waluigi #JoJo

It's been 9 years since The Good Dinosaur released. Even after all this time I find new things. I do believe this is Pixar's most forgotten film, but for me there's too much behind it to be forgotten. For instance, the 2nd image shows the original size of Arlo, compared to the Arlo and Butch we got.

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS Flys Away - ©Xingyang Cai - Pic - HD Pic - About Astronomy Picture Of the Day #astrophotos Maintained by @shinyakato.dev 🔭 READ MORE 🔭

These six panels follow daily apparitions of comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS as it moved away from our fair planet during the past week. The images were taken with the same camera and lens at the indicated dates and locations from California, planet Earth. At far right on October 12 the visitor from the distant Oort cloud was near its closest approach, some 70 million kilometers (about 4 light-minutes) away. Its bright coma and long dust tail were close on the sky to the setting Sun but still easy to spot against a bright western horizon. Over the following days, the outbound comet steadily climbs above the ecliptic and north into the darker western evening sky, but begins to fade from view. Crossing the Earth's orbital plane around October 14, Tsuchinshan-ATLAS exhibits a noticeable antitail extended toward the western horizon. Higher in the evening sky at sunset by October 17 (far left) the comet has faded and reached a distance of around 77 million kilometers from planet Earth. Hopefully you enjoyed some of Tsuchinshan-ATLAS's bid to become the best comet of 2024. This comet's initial orbital period estimates were a mere 80,000 years, but in fact it may never return to the inner Solar System. Growing Gallery: Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS in 2024
