No but this is exactly it. Experiencing disasters isn’t “exciting” you’re not living some high adrenaline blockbuster. Speaking from experience you’re mostly just bored and very uncomfortable and you want to go home but can’t of course because you don’t even know yet if it’s even still there.

I’m still hoping for a refurbished series. Everyone keeps saying Valve discontinued that but they’re still selling refurbished Decks and I’ve seen no solid evidence to say they wouldn’t do the same for any of their other hardware.

Yeah… death counters or gratuitous violence are a big turn off, I prefer gentle giant stuff most of all but even for the destructive macros I watch it feels more cartoonish then anything. Including a death counter and gore feels extremely uncomfortable.

Gonna add, it seems like there is an included usb-c charging cable (they mentioned it in the setup video) just no brick, so really they just assumed you already had a brick. Which *shrug* eh, yeah fair. It’s probably just gonna sit on my desk when I’m not using it

It’s pretty standard anyways, a remake slipped right into uncanny valley, and they keep trying to sell wiretaps. You been using the custom feeds around here? It’s a big refresher. Sometimes I’ll just go to my moss feed and look at pictures of moss for awhile.

No you’re right. Sometimes open world is ok but open world Pokemon feels extremely empty. You can really feel the lifelessness when you’ve passed through the same identical flat environment for the millionth time. At that point your better off with a few smaller detailed locations you warp between.
