Kinderkrankheitstag, Linkenbashing, Asyl, Stolpersteine, Spahn, Reiche.

The #PSBlackout starts tomorrow! We want physical games to stay! A digital-only future without ownership & customer protection law is unacceptable! Log off, don't play, don't purchase, cancel subscriptions, become a ghost, until Sony realize their mistake! #PhysicalGamesMatter

Glad to see that US-Media has picked up on @hays.fyi stepping up to speak publicly for his colleagues at id Software. Notable though: my focus was to let people understand the human toll of mass layoffs. Most clips & headlines I see more concerned if id can still function as a production unit.

To make it 200 % clear: What Sony does will affect everyone. Not just physical fans. Not just gamers. It sets a precedent for the future that every company can get away with exploiting customers due to the lack of legal protection. Make EVERYONE sign this:

And that’s one reason why we need physical games & a second hand market. A used physical copy (30€) is still cheaper, than Sonys best digital sale offer (40€) & Amazon (43€) is better than the official digital price (80€) 👀. Started the game with PlayStationPlusExtra bought my copy used #Playstation

When Sony @playstation.com is killing physical media 2028, there is no no reason to stay on consoles anymore. Without the discs Playstation is just a other PC with a handful of exclusives, a payed online service & an expensive eShop without any alternative. It looks like PS5 is my last console gen.

#Sony #Playstation2028

Attila @orphois.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Attila @orphois.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Attila @orphois.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Attila @orphois.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

You'll own nothing and like it. It's like Rockstar was giving us a teaser of what future PlayStation physical games will be like. At most you'll get a code in a box. This being announced at the same time as the PS3 and Vita digital storefronts closing down is depressing.
