Hello! We’re doing a thing for the next episode of Map Men. We need someone who speaks both Mandarin AND Cantonese. Is that you? If so, please get in touch!

I left school 26 years ago, and yet I still cannot shake that end-of-summer-holidays depression that hits me in the first week of September 😩

I've accidentally made my Instagram algorithm Scottish by liking too many videos of Scots being happy at the World Cup. This is how they get you. I have been radicalised in to being a Scotsman.

Really proud of my work on this one, and as always a real treat to do work on one of the best YouTube channels going. Give it a lil’ watch if you can!

Walked past a bus straight out of the 90s this morning. The 90s colour scheme (And "City Line" branding) caught my eye initially, but it literally has a late 80s/early 90s GWR FM (rip) ad on it. I NEED EXPLANATIONS. Film prop, or was it genuinely in storage for 30+ years?

I was one of the kids who watched this live. Before I knew it was fiction I was terrified but felt weirdly excited that spooky stuff was caught on camera. When I discovered it was fiction I weirdly felt overjoyed. It was such a cool idea. youtu.be/T7SvpzlY5SE

This camera age-verification stuff is demeaning as it is (“Turn your camera on so I can check if you’re old as fuck” etc), but to be told I have some sort of AI face is even worse.

I've just had two days where I did nothing. Imagine that! Nothing. What a glorious 48 hours that was. I can't remember the last time I did nothing. And then to do a day of nothing after already doing a day of nothing. What a joy. Sadly I'm back to doing something now.

I was really worried about a series 2. I didn’t think they could capture lightning in a bottle again - But I worry no longer. Bob’s back. Rest of the cast look great. Bring it on.

Mad that it's still a thing. I remember the last time I heard the dial-up tone - in an airport in Greece in 2006, and it really felt like a retro throwback even back then.

All these kids discovering 28 Days Later in the build up to the sequel, and moaning that it was “shot at 480p”. I’m going to reply to every single one of them and inform them that it was shot at 576i and then deinterlaced. They are going to think I’m so cool.

Good. Bristol wouldn't be Bristol with simple things like "A Premier League football team". It goes against all we stand for as a city - like not having a major arena, or putting train stations as far away from anywhere useful as possible.

The UK demolished all those awesome TV/movie studios in the 00s, and now we've spent the last 5 years building countless new ones due to Hollywood/streaming demand. Are we going to have to bulldoze them all again? I can't keep up.

My daughter’s best friend moved to the end of our street last year. They’ve spent the last two weeks of the school holidays not seeing each other physically, but playing games together online every day. One of those “It’s weird, but probably what I would have done if I could back then” things 🤷‍♂️

Posting the same videos on three different platforms these last few months has been interesting. Algorithms are a weird thing. One video could be your worst performing video on one platform and be your best on another.
