Made me so sad! I still wish the terrain itself lent itself more to doing fun tricks, but at least you can pull off cooler jumps without immediately losing all your speed now. :D

I genuinely cried a little when it came out and i didnt like it, because i love sonic and the idea of playing around in a big open field as sonic sounded amazing (and still does) Booted it up then and i discovered how little speed you build down hills, and how fast you decelerate.

Breaking news: sonic frontiers hater enjoys the game now? It isnt perfect, and i still don't think that it should have taken a post launch update to make the movement more enjoyable (coming at the cost of the platform placement now feeling odd might i add) but it's fun and thats what i wanted.

My concept of distributors is either really skewed or they just aren't good. "Pay us money to do the worst job possible uploading your songs everywhere. Oh also we will use ai. Lots of ai. Also we hate you and we control your license." Only reason to use them is arbitrary gatekeeping of features

"Upload song" button where instead of having to make an awkward extended widescreen version of your music to avoid it being a short, you can just. Have the square album art and song upload together. Thatd be nice... at least bandcamp exists :3

Like you can use the sounds from a sample pack, remove some pitches, change the sample rate, and you have a relatively accurate n64 style instrument. You could make your own fictional soundfont to limit yourself in a unique way :0

My advice for people who make music and feel like they use the same samples too often, try downloading some old sample packs (like old akai cd roms, and ultra gigapack or whatever) and some old defunct plugins. They have tons of weird stuff and are often easy to customize
