One of our little voids keeps doing this, just with his brow a bit. Silly little floofs.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss

Oh dear, no. No no no no no. I would absolutely prefer not to.

I know that letter writing campaigns have more impact if the MPs don't just get a glut of templated letters from their constituents, but other than cribbing from yours, so you have any guidance on a starting point? I'd find it helpful, ty!

Yeah, not to yuk anyone's yum, but I don't understand how he keeps getting jobs. Doctor Sleep was passable, but everything else I've seen him touch.. noooope.

His works are very much "not for me", so this is hugely disappointing.

Everything that can be crossed here, is crossed for you. I hope they appear safe and sound soon.

Really convenient, but this is why we can't have nice things. Shall we start asking tailscale to add other providers, and to remove the Nazi relationship as soon as they can?

Tony @orlovsky.eurosky.social · 29/06/2026

The tailscale part might be tricky, the quick solution may well be gluetun & a tailscale container but there's more elaborate, less convenient ways.

Lest we forget: The Golden Age of Rep Cinemas. (This was originally published in the magazine of the Evening Standard, back when it was a proper newspaper; I later edited and expanded it for my blog.)

I'm so sorry to hear this, we lost our eldest cat about a month ago and it still hurts.

Tony @orlovsky.eurosky.social · 29/05/2026

An utterly unexpected delight on yet another bleak ole day.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. We lost our eldest cat recently and it never gets any easier.

That's completely optional, and given my dyslexic, "spider in an ink well" scrawl I tried it once out of curiosity and then left it turned off. This might actually be a paid service now anyway - I have a well loved 1st gen one so got free access to that.

So my handwriting is terrible, but it does a mostly OK job of managing to parse that (although, that is off device, LLM I think) Having tried to write on an iPad before, the writing experience is much closer to paper in terms of the screen texture, and the almost lack of delay in the ink appearing.

Yes! I only use mine for note taking at the moment but have done some mild pdf annotation in the past. Was there anything in particular you'd like me to test, or have questions about?

I've not heard of your pick, so thank you for the surprise recommendation!

Same on the macOS side, I've just sent diagnostics, let me know if you need anything else!

Looks like it's the same on the MacOS release, I'll do a clean uninstall and reinstall there in a sec just as soon as I've gotten Tahoe up to date.

I thought this was planned to be an IAP, but I seem to be able to enable it already (I had beta tested things, but this is with the App Store release) if your plan changed, I'll be sure to tip you as an alternative way of sending extra support as thanks for the amazing work.
