I really enjoyed the @orlanth.bsky.social podcast today. Mostly because it was a five way rant about specific RPG mechanics which get in the way in a bad way. Probably helps that they basically chose the same five that I would have.

You absolutely can use Foundry for TotM games; I just find I need to rein in my habit of adding 50 million modules to the core system. I've also been using @alchemyrpg.bsky.social for TotM games, which works well.

It was me that raised the point, I think: I was comparing it to the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay starter, which has a lot of adventure hooks and additional content for players to build on without needing further purchases.
