That's why propwer support systems between people and employers are so important. People with disabilities can bring so much to a workplace! But can't have to spend time worrying about not being able to go back to the allowance if it doesn't work out or losing certain supports etc

Having an indoor cat is totally okay, sure you would be worried sick if you had a cat that wanders! Once the cat is an indoor cat from kitten! Yeah smaller dogs often prefer to snuggle up when it's raining rather than a walk!

It's awful! I went back to work but not because I don't have my condition anymore but because I have an employer who can make accommodations! I still have to consider how every taks will impact me!

If you have a small dog they won't need the crazy levels of exercise. But on the other side a kitten will just need play time at home! I used to worry about them missing them too but the love they get in their new home!

Exactly this! There needs to be a supported path, especially around work from home roles, properly supported reasonable accommodations and pathways to permanent roles! Employers probably feel the same, and too nervous about how to support properly!

Just awful, if they move it to weekly or monthly after the Jan payment it will work out at approx 10 euro a week. Coupled with so little investment into supports for helping those who might be able to work in some capacity (if supported). Depressing.

When looking for a pain specialist, look for one who works within a multidisciplinary team. These will have the best scope of procedures while also having physios, psychologists and occupational therapists who also specialise in chronic not acute pain!
