If AI has a chance of being a benefit to society, there will be signs... like instead of killing off all of humanity, they start w/ the ruling class, and then stop. I'm not sure how you teach an AI that it should value what's good for society, humanity, and the global ecosystem, but here's hoping...

If I could re-live one calander year from my childhood, but as an adult, it would be Oct. 24, 1992 to Oct. 24, 1993. I would see my Blue Jays win 2 World Series', see my Habs win a Stanley Cup, and see a bunch of my favourite bands more-or-less in their prime.

Apparently, I'm at the stage of vision loss where I need a magnifier app to read some fine print, I need to find the right distance from my face to read just about anything, and its getting harder to identify emojis to the point where I have to squint to know if someone said "this" 👆 or "F*** you" 🖕

It's weird when people accuse any Muslim politician of wanting to implement Sharia Law. Music streaming should let you tie tracks together. Many of my favourite artists have intro tracks or songs that lead into each other. I get that it would have to be a "premium" thing, and I never pay for something I can get free, but there's a reason Tool and Mars Volta aren't in my S**tify Wraped.

I'd like to think that if they were to nuke Iran in a war they supposedly started to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon, that would make it pretty clear to the entire world who the bad guys are in that situation, but I know there would still be people saying they deserved it for some reason.
