We’re just returning from a great visit to Lundy Island where we were lucky to enjoy really good numbers of migrants during Thursday afternoon and throughout Friday in the SE winds. The highlight was finding this very brief (vocal) Western Bonelli’s Warbler at Millcombe on 30th

A few personal highlights on recent @oriolebirding.bsky.social trip to #Morocco, led by Dave Gosney. Really enjoyable holiday & great birding. Chuffed to spot a male Houbara Bustard mooching around a wadi 😀. Northern Bald Ibis crossing the road & feeding beside the minibus was fab too.

A mega moment for our Peru group this morning on the trails at Owlet Lodge as we found the nest of an Ochre-fronted Antpitta by chance. We also managed to film the adult feeding the well grown single chick but it spent most of its time brooding in the heavy rain
