When I tell you I’m excited for legion remix. I don’t think anyone understands how excited I am

I’m a simple girl. All I want is Reputation (TV), the firebirb from Fyrakk, every piece of Pusheen merch, and a President that actually cares about people like me. Is that too much to ask for?

Made it to a personal goal I set for myself last year.

oren @orenailia.bsky.social · 06/04/2025

Sunrise on the Reaping should have been longer and Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes should have been shorter.

I ask, “What’s the vibe for tomorrow?” He says, “I don’t know I didn’t come up with anything.” I asked four weeks ago to please come up with something. I just want to not be the one to plan something every time. I just want to receive the same effort I give.

Hobbit Girl Spring is here. 😌🌿

Hobbit girl summer illustration:
“Plant seeds” beside a sprout coming out of the dirt
“Dress in bright colors” beside a yellow cardigan
“Water your hope” beside a green watering can
“Eat nourishing foods” beside a bowl of soup
“Drink tea” beside a cup of tea
And at the bottom of the image, a still of Barad-dûr crumbling with the caption “being about Sauron’s downfall”.

Posting my little treats from now on (when I remember). Morning Bun I got from the Bread Alone stand at my farmer’s market this morning. Enjoyed on my break at my job. #LittleTreatSeries

The proposed wine tariffs are going to be very debilitating for many small importers and distributors. It’s not going to do anything for the American wine industry. Many businesses will shut down. I’d rather give up wine than drink most American wines - which are already overpriced to begin with.

All my holds are maxxed out in all my library cards. Yet nothing is available right now (it’s ok, I’m in the middle of reading stuff). I bet one million percent that I’ll have a bunch of them ready while I’m reading the new Hunger Games book next week.

I don’t understand the discourse about what counts for reading lists and what doesn’t. Audiobooks, graphic novels, manga, single issues of comics - and whatever I might have left out - all count. It’s not a competition. Why do some people get all upset about it?

oren @orenailia.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

Stuff like this just makes me want to buy the book. 🫠 I’m pretty selective about buying books because it’s a slippery slope for me. Like I’ll definitely buy the new Hunger Games book this year, but I don’t know if I’ll buy much else.

A screenshot of a Libby library app hold for Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros. The wait time for the book is approximately 15 weeks and was placed on January 21st. The text reads: “You are 1,118th in line (started 1,806th. 150 copies in use. 2,222 people waiting in total. 15 people waiting per copy.”
