Very cool to see all the Spotify wrapped posts at least like there's no two similar lists which shows how diverse music appreciation can be

Spotify wrapped is a flop this year but at least I found representation of my music taste (missing magbay) at a record store in Japan (tempted to get them all)

Bonus: last year's collection!

A collage showing 11 phone and desktop wallpapers I drew in 2023. Like this year's collection, the themes vary each month but most of them show my bunny characters.

Southeast Asian book recs🌴☀️🌊 I have read and enjoyed all these books and they are all set in SEA and/or written by SEAsian authors. there are nonfics + fics within a variety of genres—romance, histfic, fantasy etc. so there's something for everyone hopefully 💙📚

Book covers for Hamra and the Jungle of Memories (Hanna Alkaf), This is What Inequality Looks Like (Teo You Yenn), Revolusi (David Van Reybrouck, David Colmer, David McKay), Adam & Evie's Matchmaking Tour (Nora Nguyen), Everything We Never Had (Randy Ribay), Elevator in Sài Gòn (Thuân, Nguyen An Lý), The Fisherman King (Kathrina Mohd Daud), Some People Need Killing (Patricia Evangelista).

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.

There’s also - saving myself the frustration from an unsatisfying ending, while everything leading up to that point has been an enjoyable and engrossing read (as was the case of GtN for me)

Sometimes I wonder if spoiling myself the ending (esp if it’s a sad ending so I can prepare myself better for it - the right headspace and all) can ruin the reading experience… Can a good book be ruined by spoilers?

Moving away from my home country and learning about the history of my cultural identities. But mostly exposure to different media that made me reflect on what I’ve learnt from childhood, really opens your eyes on the power of proper education, or the lack thereof

Banging my head on the wall maybe someday there’ll be a Sui Yu Tou Zhu license (delusional). Imagine having jade pendant as merch… I need more ppl to appreciate finding beauty in the mundane and finding love in sharing your craft like this novel. This is objectively my fave danmei ever 🥹

I hope so too so they know there’s a big market out there!! I do wonder what metrics they used to choose their licenses bc some titles were relatively niche (the fish one)? Is that Don’t Pick Up Boyfriends From the Trash Bin? I’m waiting for TL too 🥹

The whole cast is pretty!! The story deals with a lot of themes but my favourite is one about the most powerful wizard who’s lived for so long and so far removed from humanity understanding the fragility of life for the first time through his connection with one of the characters

Fullmetal Alchemist by Hiromu Arakawa! A story that’s got good pacing throughout and a satisfying ending is quite rare for long running manga. It’s a fantastic shounen manga written by a woman that has unique world setting and talks about loss and value of human life #BookishQOTD 📖🦋 #Booksky 💙📚

Just a little bun traveling through the forest with their critter companions 🐰🐞 New wallpaper pack is up now on my Ko-fi! 🍂 ko-fi.com/s/1a30994f61 [ #ArtShop #wallpapers ]

Mock up of a phone wallpaper pack titled "Into the Forest". The Lock screen depicts a tiny bunny riding on the back of a stag beetle as they tread on a mossy log in the middle of a forest. A ladybug follows them. The bunny is smiling while looking at the surrounding trees and brushes. The Home screen shows various app icons designed around the autumn forest theme.
