#BG3 #BG3FanFic #DurgeMemoir #HellIsEmpty Hell is empty and all the Devils are here Book 1: Dawn, Chapter 14 archiveofourown.org/works/844159...

A young half-grown orc—or perhaps simply a young orc; I was never particularly good at guessing ages from a distance—approached me. He had olive-toned skin, dark hair, and bright, gleaming eyes. He was handsome enough, I decided and appeared sufficiently interested in me.

He bowed. "Would you care for some company, my lady?"

I managed not to snort into my ale and simply nodded.

He proved as suitable as I had anticipated and the evening offered me an opportunity to satisfy several cravings at once. He had large hands, an eager dispositio, and a surprising amount of gold on his person. He was beautiful, too, in the way people sometimes are when they have not yet learned to conceal their enthusiasm or their vulnerability.

He was also, eventually, dead.
