Facsimiles? ...Autons perhaps? Would explain why these two seemingly random people know who the Doctor is.

Really hyped for this. My only hope is that Richard Armitage is utilised better here than he has been. He's great as Rassilon so far, but we've not had that much of him. He's also a very popular actor, so getting him must be quite hard. But if he's barely used, then is there really any point?

To Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Eighth Doctor (my favourite Doctor) I'm going to be Rewatching/ Relistening to all the 8th Doctor stories in chronological order (as best as I can). My only condition is that Paul McGann himself has to be in them (so no audiobooks for short trips for now.

I know it's already quite the undertaking and I'm really looking forward to it, but I do wonder if a 4k upscale of Night of the Doctor is on the cards for this release.

I had a dream about this back in January (before anything about it had been announced). I dreamt that Daphne Ashbrook played Friend (which has now been confirmed). If Eric Roberts shows up at the end as the Uncharted Universe's Doctor (Yes, DOCTOR, not MASTER) I will be very creeped out.

"Many years later..." So is that before Lucie but after Charley and C'rizz "many years later" or after Liv and Helen but before the Time War kicks off "many years later"?

This looks fantastic and I'm sure it will be. This range has become one of my favourites in recent years. All I ask is that it doesn't end with a character vanishing and whoever's left has to go after them. The last three volumes have ended that way in one form or another and it's getting a bit old.

Loved doing the art for this one, Huge thanks to the brilliant @paulvanezis.bsky.social for being so helpful supplying screengrabs and behind the scenes images which haven't seen the light of day for 30 years!

No other classic redesigns are as great as these. There are a few others that ended up being pretty great, after a few different versions, but these two nailed it on their first try.

Ice Warrior in chains, from 2013 story "Cold War".

Mondasian Cyberman from 2017 "World Enough and Time"/ "The Doctor Falls".

Although I'm not sure how the licence the BBC has for the #DoctorWho TV Movie works, but does anyone think there's any possibility of a 4K release for it's 30th Anniversary this year? Or some other type of re-release, even if it's still the Blu-ray.

Hey @verbatimfoley.bsky.social. I recently realised that Morbius the Mighty is the only War Doctor rises set without any individual episode titles, was there ever going to be any, if so, what were they? If there wasn't, what would you name them? (Fantastic set by the way.)

There's something about it (can't really explain what) that puts in me in mind of the Ultimate Adventure play, just gives me a Pantomime vibe. I would love to see the Stage Show costume on a cover one day, although it may be quite a pain to recreate it from scratch, as there's very few photos of it.

This and Inner Demons are my most anticipated releases of the year, along with Jodie's series and hopefully a continuation of Uncharted. Hopefully this will be really different to the rest of the show, although the first volume might be more familiar to draw people in before taking a different turn.

Another year has passed, with so many great stories from @bigfinish.bsky.social. Which stories/ releases from this year were your favourites?

The cover for Mobius Part 1 with art by Caroline Tankersley. Morbius is joined by Gilda, Captain Argento and The Shimmering Man. The background is green but intruded by flames, water and cloud. Several planets float around the cast.

The cover of Time War - Uncharted 1: Reflections with art by Rafe Wallbank. In the centre is the Eighth Doctor in his time war outfit. To his left is Alex with arms outstretched, stood before a nurse in mid-century uniform and what appears to be an old hospital. An evacuation alarm warning floats overhead. To the right is Cass and the TARDIS. Behind the Doctor, glass is shattered and lit orange. The two largest shards of glass contain the reflections of some familiar faces. The background fades from green to purple and has a dusty sky texture.

The cover of Morbius the Mighty with art by Sean Longmore. The War Doctor stands at the centre holding a cane with a wolf head handle. He has a fresh wound on his cheek. To his left is Morbius holding a blue flame. Copies of the book's "The Time Machine" and "Moby Dick" fall in front of him, along with a lit candle. To his right is Cora, of the sisterhood of Karn, in her red robes. A black and a gold Dalek float before her, along with another lit candle. A second gold Dalek floats behind. The purple background is littered with scattered and floating remnants of the Eighth Doctor's TARDIS and a fizzing blue energy. The TARDIS screen reads "Dalek saucer detected."

The cover of The Fifth Doctor Adventures: Dream Team with art by Ryan Aplin. To the left are The Fifth Doctor, Tegan, Nyssa, Adric and the TARDIS. You can see a stone wall to the side and the coast in the distance. To the right and shaded in purple are the same four characters but this time with dream crabs giving their faces a hug. In the background static TV screens crackle.
