i am glad portland got a little rain last night but i am not seeing any in the 10 day forecast and i don’t like that.

opal nova @opalnova.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

1. yes. 2. it’s probably because it looks like it rained a little last night. i think that helps people feel a little tippity tappity in synchronization. that’s the scientific explanation anyway. 😄

the dish scrubber that has a cute face & matches the color of your dishcloths is still single use plastic. the wavy white sponges that deteriorate into the water are also really bad.

Four bunnies encounter a microraptor, a small dinosaur with colorful feathers. They are standing around the microraptor, who regards them with a curious bird-like grin

Find a place with a good air filtration system. Our doesn’t have this and it gets dusty way too fast. Also, a stove hood that doesn’t just filter, but pulls the air outdoors.

walk or bike near a bus route if there is one. then you can bus back if you tire out. also, if you have room, a rebounder and a movie or show. try to watch the whole thing, or two shows.

The list so far is: 1. Historical homogeneity due to bland home decor, specifically targeting children’s toys. 2. Bodily homogeneity from anti-woke incels, specifically women. 3. Assisted suicide in place of treatment for elderly & disabled people bc it’s saving money for the people who aren’t.

anyone who’s been poor knows this and probably still doesn’t always have time to make food. you’re afforded this level of wealth building by generational wealth that stabilized basic needs. anyway, breaking news: social media lies.

000

opal nova @opalnova.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

i saw an instagram post abt “building wealth” by making your own food. we’ve already had the avacado toast & latte discussion. when you don’t have weekends off or you do but you spend them repairing or preparing for the week, you can’t build wealth.

you know how you always hear abt people trading up to buy a house or something? i prefer hearing abt times you loved something and you gave it away to someone you knew might also love it. what did you tell them? did they? or did they find it a new home? how did that connect you w/ your community?
