If you show up to a PvP event only for rewards and aren't interested in actually PvPing; don't come! You ruin the experience for everyone else. It is the equivalent of showing up to a PvE raid only to idle in the corner and wait for the loot the drop. Use your time to do something you enjoy.

I also drew my Shadow Pteri, Ravenwood, who is based upon the Narrator from Wizard101. :)

A semi-anthropomorphic Shadow Pteri (from Neopets), colored to look like a raven. She is wearing a purple-and-blue gown, which is adorned in gold jewelry. She has a worn brown pouch tied to her belt, and holds a wooden cane in her left hand.

I drew my Fire Kougra, Firecat! He is based upon... well, the Firecat from Wizard101. Look for him on Grundo's Cafe!

An orange cat-like Kougra Neopet, with a mostly orange-and-yellow color palette. He is slightly crouched down, looking intently off screen. His yellow stripes seem to slightly glow, especially against the orange-red gradient going down his body. A small section of flickering fire sits upon his back.

7 days left! We're 63% funded and I've published a new campaign update on the Kickstarter page and will be releasing a new demo update within a couple days! kickstarter.com/projects/verdant-moon-studios/flipside-brave-beginnings/posts/4785471

Note: Final paragraph had to be removed from Bluesky as it was too long for the alt-text limits. Full post is on Kickstarter.

Hey everyone! Giving a quick campaign update here and some info about the upcoming demo update! Currently we have roughly a week left until the end of the campaign, and we're just under $2600 short of our goal. Backers pledged about another 13% during the middle 15 days of the campaign, which I'm happy with considering the middle of all of the KS campaigns I've watched in the past has historically been drastically slower than the start and end. This leaves us with 37% left to raise in the last week.

To help us reach that goal, I have a lot planned this week, both in terms of promotion AND a new update to Flipside! Within the next few days I'll be releasing an update to the demo on itchio that will add 2 new shops to the game world: A duel accessory shop, and a clothing shop! These will only have a single type of cosmetic each at the moment since this is only their very first implementation, and there's still a lot of work to do to finish the rest, but it gives the player a small taste of the cosmetic choices that will be available in Brave Beginnings. And to be extra clear, these shops only use credits, the in-game currency, just like a typical RPG. There will be zero micro transactions in Brave Beginnings, and I have no plans to add them in any future chapters.

It has been too long since I gave an update on my #YouTube so let's do that! TL;DR More #SWG and #SWGLegends videos and resources ahead.

The image reads. CHANNEL UPDATE - Happy late summer/winter depending on your hemisphere!

Currently, I'm working on 3 different projects related to SWG and one of them isn't even a video! My hope is that my non-video project will be a useful tool for the community which can accompany my videos, or stand on its own, to help share information, empower mechanical exploration, and find more fun in this beloved sandbox. More information about this resource will be released as I get it functional and put it out to the community for initial feedback hopefully next week.

One of the other projects is a detailed guide on the process of crafting Mandalorian armor which should be helpful to anyone looking to complete this armor set regardless of the emulator they play on. Below are some screenshots from my time recording footage for the video along with my efforts to better document important NPC locations for the guide and to add to the Legends Wiki.

The last project, my Jedi video, has been a moving target and is on pause (for now). I hope to return to it as my main focus after the Mandalorian crafting video is out. Sorry for the many delays on this one but getting the script to feel right has been challenging.

Additional videos will also be coming up on the channel soon including my review of the Ace of Aces pilot series and a reflection on this year's Battle of Restuss event on SWG Legends. These videos may get a little saucy.🌯

YouTube Members can expect a more detailed, behind-the-scenes progress update on these topics this September. I appreciate your additional support and don't mean to be so sparse in my member uploads!

Stay hungry, galaxy!

I'm working on a #SWG project that's requiring me to stare intently at all of the combat modifiers in the game. This game is a mess. Nothing is uniformly done; no standards at all. Everything to the whim of whoever was working on that one feature at the time. Game development is truly a miracle. 🙏
