everything is so incredibly not okay in my life right now it is falling apart, completely.

I wish I could walk or run or hike or ride my bike or do any of the things I normally do when I'm sad/hopeless. Or to distract from the fact I'm losing my job for being incompetent. But on the same day I found that out I fucked up my knee. So I'm just stuck inside thinking it over every day.

This isn't even me saying this as someone with a following. Trust me, you can have a following online and be MISERABLE at a con, and vice-versa. It's a mindset thing. I think it helped being in a foreign country, because I had no preconceived notion of how I wanted the con to go. I was just happy

NFC is the first con where I feel like I did it "right" Like there were people I wanted to see, and I saw a lot of them, but I didn't stress about not seeing everyone. I connected more with some people. I never felt like I was trying to keep up or like I was left out. It was just fun.
