I know it's been a year, but pls keep in mind the length n complexity of HoL. (I've also had to take time off for myself.) that said, I've already posted a bit of WoL on my patreon. it might be slow going atm but it IS happening.

to no ones surprise I did indeed forget this account existed - anyway, here's a Milord from @oolongteacup.bsky.social's UnderState AU

A skeleton with purple lights is in a leather jacket, gloves and dress shirt, he's sat at a table with a chess board, he's holding a white pawn, there is a blurred background of a kitchen behind him. The pieces are set up in the positions of "The Immortal Zugzwang game"

So, let me see if I got this right. You're saying that a singular absolute authority above another individual who is attempting to become a singular absolute authority is going to fix things... how?

Here are some nice mushrooms

A small family of splitgill mushrooms grows from the underside of an upturned stick like a bouquet of flowers. Behind them is a gray, bare, winter forest

Amazing what a decent night's sleep will do for you.

Spent far too long writing fantasy pseudoscience. Why can't the snow bird fly? Because it exudes cold and heat is needed for updrafts and, through it, lift. So enjoy your pretty, flightless, mythical snowbird. It will laugh as you like a peacock, and sigh like the glorified emu it is.

Gonna write a story with just one "fuck" written right in the beginning, then clean language for the rest of it. Just to mess with people.

NO FUCKING WAY DAVID LYNCH PASSED TODAY!?! Please excuse me while I go mourn this mad lad and reminisce on the films that have influenced so many other works beyond my own.

It has now officially been three days since I've last slept. Rereads/edits are gonna be an adventure for fully lucid Oolong.

The only sad thing about moving to BSky from X is that I have to hope that my favorite artists migrate as well AND I manage to find them again.

I have an idea for a movie about a guy searching for people he can put on his resume - aptly named "References." The movie itself is made of nothing but references to other movies.

For fellow pkmn fans out there - if you're angry about dexit, don't buy the games. If you're pissed about the shoddy quality, don't buy the games. Don't give into FOMO, cuz money speaks and things won't get better if you keep buying and say what the pkmn company is doing is okay with your purchase.

I heard someone say once that the US is the nicest 3rd world country they've ever been to. Heard it once, and it stuck with me. Still don't know how I feel about it, though.

Get your money back. If the artist did not explicitly state they had a long list and gave you a timeframe estimate at the very beginning, always back out if it's been more than two weeks and they don't even have a sketch for it.

New Year's is honestly the worst time to start a resolution (if this day sees you in the ass crack of winter.) Wait until the warmer, brighter months where serotonin and dopamine are easier to come by. You will be much more likely to stick with your goal - especially if that's kicking a bad habit.

To anyone that sees this - is TikTok really getting banned? I know it's already wiped from certain countries, but I'm curious about where else.

Binding books is a lot of work. It's also incredibly satisfying to see something you made on your bookshelf in terms of both craft and content. Still wish it didn't give me a back ache sewing up a spine, but seeing a full shelf of books I've written is going to be phenomenal.

Ever since the... I dunno what to call it. 'The Great Corruption?' Nah, that's TCG and not to be confused with a card game - despite being a shitty hand dealt. Either way, and not matter what it is, ya gotta give yourself credit once in a while for slogging through the tedium.
