Finally switched to @grapheneos.org a couple days ago and so far it's been even better than I imagined. Not having to rely on Google for anything + the ability to instant turn off camera/location permissions for EVERYTHING with one switch is amazing

Fun development of the day: I went to use the bathroom at school and I came back to this sticker left at my laptop. No idea who did this but it made my day :3 I had to trim it down to make it fit but the Wholesome Fops now has a home with my other furry stickers, which probably gave me away XD

So I installed a Windows VM The only thing it wants to do is download updates, install updates, then restart... And do it all again This is a fresh ISO I downloaded 4 hours ago, btw Between restarts I'm disabling all the AI and telemetry BS I forgot how slow this whole process is, fuck Windows

A picture of one of my monitors in my Linux PC. A virtual machine window takes up most of the screen. This Windows 11 desktop shows a few windows: most are settings apps where I'm editing policies and disabling unwanted Windows bloat. One more window shows the Windows Update screen, and several updates are downloading and installing. The Windows VM wants to restart soon to finish updating. Seriously, I downloaded and installed this version of Windows earlier today directly from Microsoft. One would think that it would come already updated.

One of my very favorite things is when I order multiple things on Amazon, I arrange for all of them to ship on the same day and hopefully in the same box, and I get an email saying "yup, they're getting split up into 3 boxes and they might arrive on different days anyway"
