Under-35 wealth fell by more than cumulative inflation, so it was down in raw dollars. Wages may have kept up with inflation, but the increased time since stimulus checks, enhanced unemployment assistance, CTC, and ACA credits, and continuous Medicaid enrollment saw falling nominal wealth.

The last time I dropped by the Nike store at my local mall, it was set up like a streetwear brand's shop. Way more fashion-athleisure than actual athletic wear. Shifting focus to pursue another market makes some sense if you're being undercut by cheaper brands as they are, but this was... painful.

These checks actually exist and will be paid absent court action, and I doubt anyone has standing to block it. The money's from from an ACA exchange operations account funded by policy fees. It ran a surplus, so rebates are being issued to Obamacare policyholders who don't get federal subsidies.
