Danielle Smith is right: Poilievre would pull Canada in the same dangerous direction as Trump’s America. Poilievre’s campaign has been about pitting and dividing Canadians — vilifying the queer & trans community, migrants and marginalized people, while cozying up to the far-right and billionaires.

I've heard lots of Canadians say with the trade war etc we'll have to "cut costs".. No, that's how we become the US. We have to distinguish ourselves by returning to the values that matter. Tax the rich, big corps, cut subsidies, help lift people up. That's a country we can fight for.

Great that Carney is focusing on the threat of Trump's agression toward Canada, AND concerns are being raised that other priorities like protecting & supporting Canadians like people with disabilities, women experiencing abuse, & ensuring gender equity are being side-lined. This is not okay.

Since '76 Canada's had a govt body to advance gender equality & address the critical issue of violence against women. Carney scrapped Women & Gender Equity Canada(WAGE); gender equality moved to “Canadian culture & identity, Parks Canada” under Minister Steven Guilbeault. A backward move.
