This is the funniest thing I've seen today, possibly ever
A tweet by SarahStarberry that says "oh god read the vertical axis" on top of a chart measuring AI models' release dates and model numbers rather than any real capabilities

"Higher velocity = more good" is a misunderstanding premised on the idea that every piece of work on your Jira board is there because it adds value in some way. Once you understand that the majority of developer tickets are actually negative-value, you will become enlightened.

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, holding a red ball labeled "A SILLY MEME".
The second panel shows Sarah taking the ball and going through a door labeled "GROUP CHAT".
The third panel shows a group of women sitting together and consoling one woman in the center. The woman in the center is saying "...And that's how it happened. It's been the worst day of my life."
The fourth panel shows Sarah standing in the doorway behind them awkwardly holding the red ball.

ah yes, security is when you ask programs not to do certain things, rather than removing their capability to do them. in this case aided by a program that does not in any meaningful sense understand behavioural instructions

Combien d'enseignants on recrute ?

The worst part of the openclaws matplotlib fiasco was how many people took the side of the bot. Commenters were outright flaming the maintainer for his decision to not accept random drive by agent slop (If you don't know what I'm talking about, good, it's better to stay that way)

Type systems verify properties of programs. Production correctness is a property of systems. The gap between these is where the interesting failures live.
