Century's new ref! Might do a bit more tweaking but I'm pretty happy with it (as happy as you can be when you're fighting perfectionist tendencies on your favorite oc) Already caught some obvious typos after uploading it to two dif places and I'm sure there's more lmao OC: toyhou.se/6725959.cent...

What's your favorite channels for background music/ambiance? Just thought I'd ask since the "lofi beats w/ a pretty pic in the bg" side of YouTube is rife with AI now :( I've been enjoying the pokemon nostalgia & TOTK ambiance videos; Monterey Bay's streams are nice for no/listening to my own music

Dude SAME The only landscape studies I've been motivated enough to do were ones I planned to put a character in

Quick(er than usual) redesign/ update of Dust ~ I mostly just wanted his palette to be a bit more warm and eclectic (the old one used gray) + did a fun messy icon + the little thumbnails landscapes toyhou.se/13986157.dust #digitalart #furryart

Thanks for the chance! I'm not at all picky with character choice (anyone w/ "art wanted" tag is awesome) but here's two guys I thought you might find interesting :) toyhou.se/OneAlbatross...

How do you motivate yourself to do art studies? Normal art I often end up tweeking and adjusting ad nauseam even tho I know I should be consciously learning to get better at initial sketches instead How do u gesture draw random ppl and animals when all u want do is draw✨️your OCs✨️? #digitalart

I'm always super conflicted on how much to watermark art especially when it's other people's characters ;v; There's three on this one - I hope its not "enough to be annoying, not enough to be effective" lmao plenty of big artists post commissions without watermarking at all so idk

Fred Rodgers on the importance of making something even if other people don't think it's good had me crying this morning. Passing it along for anyone else that might need it.

A man in a green sweater and blue shirt drawing with crayons across three pictures. "Do you like to draw with crayons. I'm not very good at it but it doesn't matter"

A man in a green sweater and blue shirt drawing with crayons across three pictures. "It's the fun of doing it that's important. Now, I wouldn't have made that if I'd just thought about it."

A man in a green sweater and blue shirt drawing with crayons across three pictures. "No matter how anybody says it is. It feels good to have made something. The best thing is that each person's would be different."

I've wondered this before & thought to myself how weirdly new/a young person's thing this seems. e.g. imagine a grandma with a blue wolf she made up 70 years ago & wants you to have. What if instead of old furniture or china sets you got the "family OCs" passed down through the generations lol

I miss being an avid reader and all the special bookmarks I made,, I still read sometimes but I prioritize my other hobbies WAY more now that I'm not forced to read stuff for school and I've really fallen off the book reading wagon . OC: toyhou.se/6725959 . 🏷 #anthroart #furryart #traditionalart

I love that Affinity has a 50% off sale and is taking advantage of the chaos surrounding Adobe. 😌 As someone who has dabbled with their software, there is a learning curve, but they can do the job. There is no subscription, it's a one time payment! affinity.serif.com/en-us/

remember Good Eats with Alton Brown? Haven't seen that since the 2000s w/ my mom. It was a super neat science + cooking show that explained why food does what it does when you make it. I should watch again. I'm terrible at cooking and I think it would give me a better understanding of things

Finished some refs! had to "cut myself off" from nitpicking these into oblivion and convince myself they are "good enough" ;o; nimble monster fighter, pirate monkey, and plush dragon! Bingsu's colors are kinda subject to change as they didn't quite "click" as well as expected #digitalart #furryart

Art payment for Bunontherun4u on TH of their character Judas! I offered a full scene with small character instead of a bunch of little pieces because I wanted to practice another landscape :) I deviated much further from the reference material this time #digitalart #furryart #ocart

Character concept I finished a while ago- a behemoth fearfully speculated to exist, a "star-eater" kaiju in the depths of space. Much like black holes, it's difficult to detect because light fails to escape it - only the "distortions" eyes and falses star tend to be visible #digitalart #furryart #oc

One of my first real attempts at digitally painting a landscape with a ref and all that- I don't think I had the right approach to blocking, details, etc; I'll probably look into more tutorials - but it looks nice in general I suppose and Dust looks very nice in the scene :) #digitalart #furryart
