Worrying from Sony... Are they about to kill off all alternative accessible input devices / wired controllers that are not officially approved? Will that be "Gaming that is accessible for all"?
PS5 front-end page marked: "Discover Accessibility... Gaming that is accessible for all". A grid of 5x2 boxes with various games. In the background an array of symbols, icnluding for deafness, sign-language, blindness and vision impariment and a wheelchair symbol.PS5 alert: Dualsense Wireless Controller Device Software. A new version of the Dualsense wireless controller device software is available. This update will be quick and your console won't need to restart. Some features might not work properly if you don't update ot the latest controller device software. To update later go to Settings, Accessories, Controller General, Dualsense Wireless Controller Device Software. Two buttons at the bottom. Update Now (which will fail for some controllers) or Notify After 24 Hours.

Nice one! Hope they include alternative play modes, as that twin mouse mode looks impossible to access for some who'd no doubt love to play this. Also reminds me of the old International Soccer hack. Wheelchair 'Murderball' Rugby next?

I think sometimes there's no need to reinvent the wheel. This really addresses the pdp One Hand Controller long being out of stock, and improves upon it with the optional toppers and extra buttons. The close alternative was hacked Wii nunchuks at a far higher price/time to make.
Black curved nunchuk like controller with two forefinger buttons at the front, and on the top a single thumb-stick.

Namco targets the Disabled. Namco is working with Japan's ministry of health to bring gaming to two new markets - the physically challenged and the elderly. The firm is releasing a series of PS2 peripherals designed for people with physical disabilities. The controllers can be operated with a single finger press, and feature symbols corresponding to the buttons on the standard PS2 joypad. Namco hopes to release the range in Japan next year.

Oh, (sorry this is a bit of a blurt), this is surely what they were talking about in the Digitiser item....
Blue upright cabinet with TV inside. A chair with arms in front. Either side of the arms are slanted lecturns with four Ablenet looking coloured switches mounted on thick square of Velcro, in a cross arrangement. I assume for up,down, left, right and the four Playstation shapes. Wires come out from the middoe.

This is a mock-up. The Piranahs moved very fast left and right. On a CRT B/W TV (which is what we had at the time for gaming) you could barely see them, and you'd be entirely mystified as to why you kept dying. Very frustrating.
