Screenshot of a replies section. At the top is the heading “Replies” with the subheading “Includes replies that need review.”

A comment from stomp_999, posted 4 days ago, says: “Omfg... political lesbian sci-fi. I tried. I overlooked how cheesy hokey ridiculous much of this was just to enjoy a brain fluff story and listen to the story but you lost me. You lost me with the political gay bullshit. 🙄

I hope no else wastes their time on this useless drivel.”

Below the comment is a “See less” link.

A divider says “2 replies.”

The first reply is from Taylor, posted 2 days ago, saying: “My dude, you seriously clicked on a audio drama about a lesbian couple in Fallout and got angry that it was about a lesbian couple... in Fallout.”

The second reply is from Once Upon A Wasteland: A Fallout Story, posted 8 minutes ago, saying: “The show does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm genuinely baffled by your surprise, though less so than your calling the lead characters' relationship "political."”

These reviews always make me cackle. "Sex in (sic) the City with rainbows" was pretty good, though, I may use that in marketing! 😂

In news that I think can only partially be explained by the success of the #Fallout TV show, OUAW's numbers keep going up! We're #49 on the Apple Podcasts Sci-Fi charts, and we've had nearly double the number of listens over the past 28 days that we had over the previous 28!

Final Draft window. Toolbar labels across top: “Collaboration”, “Split”, “Views”, “Beat Board”, “Title Page”, a dropdown labeled “Character”, “Elements”, “Writing Stats”, “Show/Hide”, “Navigator”, “Feedback”. Script text with line numbers shown on both left and right margins:

429 — BETH
Everyone, listen. If I’m captured
or killed someone needs to find
that entrance and retrieve Odessa.
I don’t care who it is, but get her
back.

430 — (beat)
No response?

431 — CARLSON
Comms are jammed. Jesus.

432 — MODUS
Miss Kirby, we have detected that
you are in need of... assistance.

433 — BETH
Bit of an understatement, MODUS!

434 — MODUS
We believe we have identified the
entrance to the underground
facility where Scribe Valdez may be
held. This analysis is based--

435 — BETH
You can explain it all to me later!
We have more immediate problems at
the moment.

436 — MODUS
Ah, yes. You do. There is a large
group of... hmm... Super Mutants
advancing on your position. Shall
I... eliminate them?

437 — BETH
Yes! Please!

438 — MODUS
We have detected no friendly forces
in their immediate vicinity.
Orbital strike incoming. Please
brace yourselves.

(After a few seconds, there is a massive explosion.)

439 — BETH
Can you get rid of the wall of
mercenaries between us and the rest
of our teams?Same Final Draft toolbar and sidebar items as Image 1. Scene heading at top: “INT. FORT ATLAS – DAY”. Page number at top right: “45.” Footer: “45 of 51”, “No Scene”, “Ready”, zoom “90%”.

Script text (line numbers on both margins):

440 — MODUS
We can. We calculate a 61.3%
Probability that we can eliminate
the enemy forces without...
collateral damage.

441 — BETH
That’s not good enough.

442 — MODUS
We recommend that you move to the
entrance that we identified. Other
hostile forces are approaching, but
you can... beat them there if you
move now. Forty-six meters, bearing
2-9-Zero. I’ve downloaded the
coordinates to your Pip-Boy.

443 — BETH
2-9-Zero? That’s the direction they
seemed to be pushing us...

444 — CARLSON
Must’ve just been random.

445 — BETH
Alright, MODUS, we’re on the move.
But our comms are still jammed.
Wait, how are you communicating
with us?

446 — MODUS
We have... ways of defeating
more... common methods of radio
jamming.
(beat)
We will inform Lieutenant Connors
of your situation and your plans.
We will also attempt to restore
general communications.

448 — BETH
Have her put my father in charge
and coordinate a withdrawal to
Atlas.

449 — MODUS
We will. And we will monitor their
withdrawal and... handle any forces
that choose to pursue them.

450 — BETH
No collateral damage, MODUS.Same Final Draft toolbar and sidebar items as Image 1. Scene heading at top: “INT. FORT ATLAS – DAY”. Page number at top right: “46.” Footer: “46 of 51”, “No Scene”, “Ready”, zoom “90%”.

451 — MODUS
Of course not, Miss Kirby.
(beat)
Good luck.

453 — BETH
You believe in luck?

454 — MODUS
We do not.

( BETH laughs. )

455 — BETH
Alright, then. Thank you, MODUS.

456 — MODUS
Thank you, Miss Kirby. We will...
be in touch.

457 — BETH
Are you good to move, Greg? You’ve
been wearing a brave face, but I
can tell you’re hurting.

458 — CARLSON
I’m good. Let’s get moving.

( BETH and CARLSON move quickly. )

459 — CARLSON (CONT’D)
Keep your head on a swivel. This
is... wow, a hell of a lot of
damage. But let’s make sure we
don’t get surprised.

460 — BETH
Right. You know, you’ve really
grown since the first time I met
you. Back in that lab. You were
so... green.

( CARLSON laughs. )

461 — CARLSON
I was, wasn’t I?

( Gunfire erupts! )

462 — BETH
Get down! On our flank!

463 — CARLSON
Where the hell did they come from?

FWIW I already re-did the script PDFs for season 1 so that they're consistent with the format I eventually settled on.
The image shows a file directory titled "Book PDFs" containing several PDF files related to Once Upon a Wasteland. The directory path at the bottom indicates that these files are stored in OneDrive > Documents > VO > Once Upon a Wasteland > Scripts > Season 1 > Book PDFs.

The visible files include:

Episode scripts labeled "Episode 0.pdf" through "Episode 10.pdf" (each with the Once Upon a Wasteland logo on the cover).
Two files titled "Prologue" (text-based documents).
An "Introduction" file.
A partially visible file named "Once Upon a Wastela...e.pdf", possibly the full script or book adaptation.
The interface suggests a cloud storage system, likely OneDrive, with file download icons visible next to most documents. The layout is in grid view, with files represented by preview thumbnails.

Thanks for the kind words over on Spotify, Aidan!
A comment from a user named Aidan reads: "What an amazing listen, I loved seeing everybody come together again for them in the end. Although Beth and Odessa made this sound like this might be the last we hear of them, I really hope that isn’t the case! You guys all did such a beautiful job on this show and made a web of intricate and lovable characters, well done:)" The comment includes an image of the Once Upon a Wasteland logo with a heart emoji.

Although she's a bit more subdued in her celebrations, Odessa always appreciates Beth's enthusiasm for the holidays.
