I kind of miss knowing random old cis guys. Like, I have no real clue how I met so many of them as a teen, but I did, and a lot of them had interesting stories and life experiences to share. I think a lot of them would probably hate me now on account of transgender lesbian, though. But who knows?

Every once in a while I think about the guy I knew who used to be addicted to methamphetamine, heroin, and tobacco, and he always told me that smoking was the worst decision he ever made in his life. Apparently quitting meth was the easiest, but it took him decades to stop smoking.

It sucks living somewhere where you can't just buy needles online. Nowhere will deliver here because of state laws, and if I buy from the pharmacy they'll only give me 10 at a time for way too high a price (50 cents per needle).

I know a lot of people have active distaste for academia, because it can be stuffy, aloof, overly jargon-filled, and generally seats itself within the cultural scope of the financially secure and socially acceptable, but I think there's good reading within, if you know what to look for.

After having played a bunch of it, I must say that Tears of the Kingdom is actually really good. I think I was too hung up on what it isn't that I had trouble seeing it for what it is. The sky islands are whatever to me still, but the depths are really cool. Also I really like Josha. She's adorable.
