How to mitigate latency in a deterministic system. This is an almost entirely novel concept which has very little literature supporting it.

I know shooting at random political tweets is below par, but more than 5k likes on someone saying that Musk's team is "the people" and "not the government", to mean "the good guys" shows how words don't mean anything anymore.

I'm no American, so I don't get a say, but I find it interesting that people took these polls to mean "20% support" Mangione, when the bigger story is that the majority _can't decide_ if him killing the guy was right or not. This amounts to tentative support in my eyes.

I'm an okay typist (80 wpm), but I hardly wrote a page since I left school. At the urging of @markburgessosl.bsky.social, I recently picked up a pen to test if the meditation that is cursive would help collect my thoughts on distributed consistency. So far, I got as far as "f".
A Kindle Scribe, showing a practice-page intended for small children, filled out with badly formed letters, with a digital stylus resting on it.

A mutex-acquisition targets the same location, is performed concurrently by two threads and is a write, so except for the stipulation of "is not a synchronization operation", fits the data-race definition perfectly. Ipso facto: race-conditions are data-races. That's because a mutex is state
