I've always known you shouldn't cut your brushes (didn't stop me) but today I learned that using clippers on them is way more effective and can unfuck the damage you did with scissors.

A brush I used hair clippers on. It's not perfect but it's square again. I also softened the ends by brushing sandpaper a few times on each side.

Oh yeah the stand so far. I'll make the texturing hopefully look less bad later, but it has to dry for hours first, so now it's page time.

I'm holding a wooden coaster, with grass painted roughly with soft green and dotted in pink heavy body paint for flowers. The most prominent flower looks the worst, but I'll fix it later.
