I started the weaving class and I literally feel like an alien that has had no arms for their entire life, came to Earth and received arms, and now I am learning about how hands work. I am sick with confusion.

I don’t know what this is called but it is putting the threads on the weaving loom thing. It involves maths and patience and understanding.

My gorget pattern that I absolutely made up, drawn out and cut out in heavy paper lying on top of the square of brass I have yet to cut out.

My second assignment in metalworking is to create a jewellery that protects you, but I overdid it(?) because I was like 'I AM GOING TO MAKE A GORGET'—maybe I'll add pearls to it to make it more 'jewellery'? We had to make a poster that explains why I chose what I did and I made this? 🥴
