Gigantosaurus NiNaw came to live with us in Dec 2018. A hot mess, scared of everything, they knew it was gonna be hard. But in NiNaw my Ally found the Emotional Support Greyhound she needed & NiNaw found her Emotional Support Human in Ally.

On Monday we said goodbye to the force of whippet that was my brother Dylan. We could write an essay about the just over 13 1/2 years he had with my peeps and what we'll miss now he's gone. The house is far emptier and far quieter without m̶e̶ ̶b̶a̶r̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶t̶ him. Dylan, 2011 to 2026

Ally is regularly asked by Nina's insurance company to spread the good word and drum up new business for them. Her insurance premium went up by about 𝟏𝟒𝟎% to over £2,800. This dog is a year older, she has not taken up extreme sports since last renewal.

A very expensive black greyhound lies in her foam dog bed, on a duvet and blanket, blissfully unaware of the concept of money. But she is still traumatised by today's vaccination appointment and coming down off drugs.

NiNaw's in a 'sharing the big bed with Ally' phase, and she's being exceedingly generous. Last night, she let Ally use her (NiNaw's) white quilt & she did move that front leg enough to let Ally on to the edge.

Okay, so 𝑚𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑒 the fire on full is too hot for full body whippets...

The gas fire is on full flame, the brindle whippet has given up on sitting directly in front of it. His bottom with his back legs sticking out froggy style are the only things left in the fireplace dog bed. His top 2 3rds are well away from the furnace heat.

This is 🌈🐕 Dennis' tree by our front gate. Dylan and my peeps lost him 8 1/2 years ago to bone cancer. He's the only dog they've ever accidentally adopted (story attached).

They went on a kennel walk and decided that he was a nice small boy and maybe they'd try fostering him to see how he fitted in with Niki and Connie.

'Cept when they went to collect him, they realised that actually it was the giant boys in the kennels at the same time making him look small. Whoops.

And then, when they were given adoption papers instead of foster papers they just signed them obediently 🙃.

And so... they became the family of a 2 year old greyhound weighing 35kg 🤪.
