Automated grocery list agents will only see themselves in the solar system of utility when grocery stores have ingredients in stock Repeated "oops we're out of that, and that, and..." notices really fuck up an efficiency plan. I've never once placed a grocery order/done a big shop without a hassle.

I'm not doing the coaxing required to get the Youth in my life to put useful information about dinner plans in a family group chat in time to check the pantry and get an order together. I'm also not going to count on the grocery store having what I'd need to order- or an appropriate substitute...

If you love stationary and based on sales, I think a lot of people do. Here's a gentle nudge to move past "collecting" and to actually USE the stationary. Write letters to friends and family. Send thank you notes. Write actual cards and MAIL THEM.

I am pretty sure I saw... some kind of raptor? fly up out of a parking lot? In the middle of Albuquerque? It was much too big and bulky to be a pigeon or roadrunner and I couldn't see how much lift it got from where I was. The colors looked right for a coopers hawk.

It is so wild to see RAF Fairford in my timeline. My dad was stationed there in the 70s/80s and I started school at the local CofE primary. It was wound down in the 90s, I think?
