I find this a weak critique of effective giving in @nytimes.com. Ignores that orgs like @givingwhatwecan.bsky.social encourage giving *more*, not just "optimizing" giving. Expanding our circle of moral concern doesn't necessarily imply neglecting local communities. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/07/b...
