Rutabaga was a winter vegetable at our house frequently on the table, especially Sunday dinners. Pealed cooked like potatoes with salt added and a heaping teaspoon of sugar to remove bitterness. Irish households used to add to potatoes to get the kids to eat it like they did with cabbage. Love it

It's difficult to talk to someone you love that's checking out, a childhood friend lungs were going out with nothing they could do, too thin to get a transplant even tho she was in early 40s. I would choke up every time. Wanted to say it would be OK, but she and I both knew it was over.💔

Definitely heading there. They actually show up on the weather radar maps at nighttime when they start the journey. They stop re-fuel along the way. We had a huge group of hummers last week, then nothing for a couple of days. Then a few showed up, probably those from further north arriving
