My dev team have been using Amazon Kiro with different models over the last year and development is much faster than it used to be. We still have code review and QA processes because AI isn't that good yet. I wouldn't trust any software that doesn't have skilled developers significantly involved...

I watched the full video the other day, that weapon destroyed everything except the shield. Also recently watched Tom Cutler videos on the deadliness of slings and chakrams, fascinating stuff.

😆 we have had a few PC deaths to be sure, the game is quite deadly. Skills only go so far to a long adventuring career and they won't save you from a critical in combat

I usually do it at the end of each 2 hour session, although if we finish a session mid-action I don't bother. During the game I try not to ask for too many rolls either. I used to worry PCs would advance too quickly but I don't think it matters too much.

Sadly I don't have the first one I bought back in the 80s, I think it was the same edition that came with the Speccy game. I have a Harper Collins paperback from the 1998, a graphic novel version I think I picked up in the 80s, a deluxe edition with JRRs illustrations, and this version.

{Checks out RPG Campfire Deck 🤔} I can see the benefit of that, but I do like being surprised by a random encounter as much as the players. A couple of weeks ago they were nearly wiped by a random encounter ghost that they couldn't persuade... I had a lot of fun with that!

This evening in Dragonbane my players once again faced their most formidable and terrifying nemesis - water! Whether it's an underground stream or lake, or a fast flowing river, they always get battered crossing, swimming through or under water. Far more fearsome than any dragon or demon!

Yeah, I was minus 3 years old, I'm sure it had sold out before I was born. I did have one of these mechanical pocket calculators, I thought it was amazing, probably late 70s.

Similar, I love running Dragonbane and having just picked up Arkand and the Book of Magic, they add a lot. Near the end of Secrets of the Dragon Emperor. I love running Dolmenwood as well, an amazing setting and a great reworking of OSE. Comfort game would be The One Ring, I could play it forever.
