This evening in Dragonbane my players once again faced their most formidable and terrifying nemesis - water! Whether it's an underground stream or lake, or a fast flowing river, they always get battered crossing, swimming through or under water. Far more fearsome than any dragon or demon!

Crowded House, my final year at Uni in 1994 I was offered a free ticket when they played Sheffield. It was the night before one of my finals, so I sensibly/foolishly declined. Flock of Seagulls, about 10 years ago they planned a tour, but then cancelled. I saw them back in the 80s though.

I was enjoying this book until I noticed 160 pages missing. I purchased it from Wordery back in 2018 and it's been on my pile to read since then. Their policy is for issues identified within 3 months, so if you buy a book from them make sure you check every page is perfect within that time...

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

Something I've noticed watching various tech webinars is when they talk about scale and growth they say, for example, "three ex as much" as in 3x rather than "three times as much". I just find it weird that the multiply operator is referred to just as x, it doesn't sound right to me.

Been on a "Using AI for software development" webinar this morning and it's both mine blowing and terrifying. The skill of being a developer has changed overnight... It won't be long before AI writes all code and a skill set disappears.
