luckily in my case I didnt lose hard-earned stock or anything! Just had a really discombobulating and embarrassing (mostly to myself) mishap. Bottom line is maybe I shouldnt "power through" when I dont actually have the power at the moment 😣

overall I think I have a pretty decent sense of humor but now and then there is something I just find disproportionately funny compared to everybody else, and this is one of those things

I hate that we have to think like this. Someone wrote me a sweet but weird email and I thought it was AI but later felt guilty and moved it out of trash and replied and they turned out to be real 😔. i've basically decided to just be blindly trustful and take a "fool me shame on YOU" attitude

On my morning walk every year I pass by this quince tree and gradually there are more and more quinces on the ground and I am a very tired person but those quinces weigh on my conscience tbh

I am really fascinated by the psychology of the buy nothing group no-shows. The no-showing/no reply is weird enough to me but then when I give the item to someone else, several of these people who ghosted me with no replies will claim they were “on their way“. What is in it for them?

The parents who cared about this already policed their own kids' access to books. The problem they had was they couldn't stop someone else's kids from reading whatever they wanted. So they went to the government and lobbied to get these laws passed so they could stop *your kid* from reading books.
