I'm the same. Too expensive still (for me anyway) to buy, street parking so difficult to charge, cheap to run for sure but until the infrastructure catches up and range gets better, I can't justify it at all.

...buying a £6 dash magnet to secure my phone and be able to see the sat nav. And it's right next to the unit so no large cables, no windscreen mounts, no faff and the good thing is the head units has the dab+ aerial built in so it works without needing to fit something to the windscreen. 2/2

The set up I had for my Ford Cougar 2.5V6 and then subsequently Frank my MK1 Focus is I removed the ford unit, bought an £18 Amazon single DIN with dab+, bought a conversion connector and wired it up. Now I have Bluetooth, aux, charging and USB through the unit. I got around the mounts by 1/2

Maybe with this, just use the aux, plug in your phone and rather than get dragged into the wiring etc, I'd run DAB through my phone, as well as Spotify and nav. Then it saves you faffing, unless of course you want to go that way.

I also eventually got to meet one of my heroes, Sir Clive Sinclair. A gent to speak to, a genius with Chris Curry and did many firsts before anyone else. His watch, his pocket radio and his pocket TV as well as a home pc to market for under £100.

Well, after the Volvo fiasco where the seller said come and see then didn't bother to tell me he flogged it (wasted 30 mile round trip) and the A6 which was a bag of spanners, I might have found an addition to double the fleet to two 😂😂. Off to have a shuftie today so cross your fingers for me!

For me, it's the 2nd best Bond but with the best Bond villain. The best Bond is The Spy who loved me IMHO as it has a lot of firsts. Jaws, Underwater villain, the Lotus. Walken's portrayal of an ayrian child of KGB stock is fantastic which puts him up there but he does do unhinged well 😂😂😂
