The Wii U Mii Maker theme is so good I want to tear my eyes out

Sad to see all this going on with GameChops. I've listened to their remixes for nearly a decade. Shit sucks man... There are some GameChops releases that really mean something to me. Wishing the best to all the artists

No one’s talking about it but I also dropped out of the Ed Sheeran Tour. He’s gotta sing by himself…

Reminder that DJ Cutman runs a Suno AI slop farm called “Snuggle Bunch”, aimed specifically at children. The same man that publicly denounced the use of gen AI, yet has been actively using it for monetary gain (as recently as last week)

Old news, but I just learned that Avi Arad, producer on the upcoming Zelda movie, is a supporter of the genocide in Gaza. Very disappointing by this

A screenshot of a Wikipedia post that reads "A self-described proud former member of the Israeli military, Arad has been a staunch supporter of Israel. In 2024, he denounced Democratic U.S. senator Chuck Schumer for criticizing Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's handling of the Gaza war, and stated his opposition to a ceasefire in Gaza."

Doing this in an era where you can no longer legally engage with art without financially supporting its publisher is something else

This feels like a weird mix of Wii U era Nintendo wanting everyone to love them and 1990's Nintendo giving out coupons after a price fixing lawsuit

Imagine a world where BotW came out in 2015 Either that saved the Wii U and delayed the Switch (possible) Or Mario Odyssey was a launch title and the Switch just had a relatively boring first year (more likely imo)

Looking back, the graphical difference between Mario 64 and OoT is very impressive

I feel like I have to be quiet about loving the Zelda timeline because of how much people hate the concept lol

Phantom Hourglass remaster for 2027, mark my words

People act like the OoT remake is just Millennial nostalgia pandering, like Gen Z didn’t also grow up with it on 3DS

Imagine going back five years and telling someone there would be a Nintendo system that got an original 2D Metroid before it got ANY original Mario platformer

000

Can’t wait for everyone to play Touhou 6 and realize that one Teto song came from it lol

2026 Nintendo will make Master Quest a DLC announced a month after launch, mark my words

MJ @okayemjay.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I don't think remakes are inherently anti-art, they are just their own separate pieces of art that are good or bad on their own merits

MJ @okayemjay.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

OoT remake looks good but I better not see anyone say this is the “definitive“ version

Having BotW and Mario Odyssey for Switch 1’s first year really ruined some Nintendo fans because how are we having “Switch 2 no games” discourse??

I like Mario Kart World, but I think the fact so many fans have been clamoring for DLC kinda shows that the game didn't have enough content to begin with
