I’ve said this since the PS2 days, Sony (or any mega corp.) aren’t your friends and they want to make all the money they can

@museband.bsky.social have long been my favourite band and they always continue to blow my mind with a wealth and variety of such well made music. The Wow! Signal is their latest album and a stone cold banger

Much better evening with @marathonthegame.bungie.net tonight. Had some gigs-chads on my squad at one point! One thing I learned is one of the contracts absolutely sucked - so much running around the map took so many tries

Really enjoying @marathonthegame.bungie.net thus far! When you lose all your gear it’s gutting, but when you have a good run it’s sooooo addictive

#4 Styx: Blades of Greed Got a 7/10 in my review for @gamersocialclub.ca was good stealth ‘em up fodder. Bit rough round the edges and a few bugs but still a good time

#3 Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Started as a bit of a party evening type affair (maybe on gamepass) and just kept chipping away at it.

#2. South Park: Snow Day Certainly not as good as the other more recent SP titles, but worth a dabble if you’re a fan of the series if you can find it cheap.

Game #3 - Sniper Elite: Resistance In my review for @gamersocialclub.bsky.social I have this an 8.5. Super fun Nazi killer. The definitive Sniper Elite experience. Plenty of laughs, great mechanics and a fun Hitler DLC “Lights, Camera, ACHTUNG!’ Story was surprisingly moving in a couple of places

Book #1 - A Cold Wind From Moscow Love the Tom Wilde books, they’re super well written and based in historical events. I tend to default to audiobooks because I can multitask! This one was cracking and I powered it over the weekend. Fully recommend the series

Just completed my Authentic difficulty run on @sniperelite.com Resistance and it was super fun! The new game is great fun and would definitely recommend! I put out a whole load of guides on @gamersocialclub.bsky.social too if you need it! Some of these X-Ray kills proper made me laugh

Gig #1 - The Fabulous Thunderbirds Went with father-in-law and friends to this one. Only knew one song (which they didn’t play) but they have like 50 years of music so fair play. Great gig and the longest harmonica solo I’ve ever seen (a record that was beaten 3/4 times that same night)

Game #2 - Escape Academy Thought I’d go back to this and get it finished since it was leaving Game Pass this month! Enjoyable enough, not my favourite type of game but liked what they did with it 6.5 / 10

Album #1 - The Human Fear by Franz Ferdinand Wasn’t sure off the back of the first couple of singles, but FF are very good at what they do. It’s a funky album that seems to pull elements from their back catalogue wel, though wish there were a few more uptempo guitar numbers 7/10
