Since June, my father was hospitalized twice, and we had to put our dog down. Along side that sorrow, we've stepped closer and closer to publication. Honestly, the thing I'm proudest of is my sobriety through all of this. Praise God!

Thriller. Yes, the music video. I was 4 y.o. the first time i saw it and ran upstairs, and laid on the floor. When my mom checked on me, she asked why I was on the floor. I said if the zombies come, they can just eat me.

I pray that when my little business becomes a big business, I'm able to enforce 3-5 paid days off every 12 weeks from the hire date. That's amongst other things, but I keep thinking about how a few days off every 3 months would have helped me. Also, 6 hour work days.

I didn't attend the Hands Off protests. I did look at a lot of photos/videos. I noted a lack of Anti-War and Pro-Immigrant Rights posters. I know there's a lot of issues to stand up for, but it looked like a lot of "this is affecting me, so I'm upset about this" signs. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Definitely the characters. When I had about 70 pages left, I took a week or 2 away because I wasn't ready to part with them! Also: The ease of the language, the simplicity in the story telling of a hard situation. I really liked the unity across cultures and circumstances. Just a great book!

I like the perspective that it's an intersection of ability, commitment, and timing. You have to have the talent/skill; you have to hone the skill and detach from distractions; the timing has to be right. 2/3 is up to the individual. The timing is up to God.
