It's a Coffee by the pond type of morning & yes, that is a doggy paddling pool ready for the boys today.

Had new doors fitted on the house so having a clear out of all the old spare keys. Found this in the key box. A BW key from my very first GUCR. Total blast from the past.

No running for a bit due to a couple of broken ribs but I managed to get out for a nice walk with DaughterO & the boys. Back home now for some "Medicinal" vino.

Best thing about owning a French Bulldog!? Unexpected lie-ins while you wait to speed dial the vets at 8am to get him checked over. 😬

Popped over to see a mate this afternoon. Had the feeling I was being watched..... Apparently he sits there all day watching the road! 😂

It's a fire pit, frosty Heineken & power ballad kind of Friday night. I'm kicking it off with this cracker from A-ha. What's on your playlist?? youtu.be/0m_HUGMu-xE?...

I've got decorating to do, a car to get clean, shopping to do, a ton of paperwork & a call out to the vets but that can all wait! I've got to play ball with MrT first.

Not quite the right date but FB just brought this up. Six years since I found this baby squirrel in the middle of a road & then carried him 13 miles back to my van to get him to the wildlife rescue centre. Back in the days when I could knock out a 30mile run easily.

At CTE to help encourage less transport on our roads for our events, we do a car sharing & public transport lottery. Every runner who car shared & came by public transport to the Surrey Hills Marathon was put in the "hat" & the draw was carried out by my capable assistants Gimli & MrT.

Well these are nice! The White Rhino half Marathon medal & the Black Rhino Marathon medal. With an 8hr cut off for both races, it's a must do for everyone. Every penny in profit is split between Save the Rhino & our Charity of Liver Cancer Research. www.canarytrailevents.com/rhinorun
