Don't ask him why he's blasting Out of Touch by Hall and Oats and return fire, please.

#OpenRP: Your muse had an idea! "That's... an interesting proposition..." What did you ask him?

Sometimes, you just gotta go back to basics, wind up your fists, and hit your target as hard as you can. Yes, it also does help your chances when those fists are made stronger by some of the single most expensive pieces of military hardware in human history.

Well, if there was ever a reason to jump in a pool fully-clothed, I guess this would be it.

He's not a big fan of "situation room duty" as he likes to call it. Running an op (even a simulated one) isn't bad, he just prefers to be out on the field. At least it's not cargo duty.

June 2547 - November 2551 (Ages 22-26) While looking nearly identical to the Mark V[B] Benjamin would receive in November 2551, the final iteration of his Mark IV[B] sported further up-armored modifications and a newer-model EOD helmet.

March 2541 - June 2547 (Ages 16-22) This iteration of the armor was requisitioned fairly quickly after the previous version, with the only major change being cosmetic in nature.

November 2540 - March 2541 (Ages 15-16) As Benjamin continued to hone his skills and carve out a place for himself on the battlefield, it became clear he needed armor more suited to protection. Upon requisition of the new suit, he also opted for a much bolder color choice.

October 2536 - November 2540 (Ages 11-15) The first set of Mark IV[B] Benjamin requisitioned was fairly standard. While various minor modifications for mission-specific scenarios would be used, this was his preferred setup, and it served him well for the four years he used it.

#ThrowbackThursday One mission without a curveball like this would be really nice... (c. 2554)

Here's an old still taken of Benjamin in a Gen 2 prototype suit around mid-late 2553. He felt like he was in this armor constantly for almost two months, putting it through its paces in simulations and live-fire exercises. It did manage to see a few combat encounters, though. #FlashbackFriday

The first time Benjamin was introduced to the Spartan IVs was on an assignment in 2553, just before being reassigned to the UNSC Infinity. #ThrowbackThursday

So... that mission went just a little sideways. It's fine, though, he handled it... barely. [CW: alien blood]
