I've got multiple different Ed/Mary/Stede sandwich fics all close to finished, but from my Whirlpool sequel, the innkeeper era sees everyone doing happy families and learning new things about themselves :P Roleplaying pirate kidnapping, a perfectly healthy thing to do when that's how you met 😌

Listen, Stede’s smoking hot tonight, all dressed up in his fancy clothes, shadow and also glitter smudged around his eyes. Ed’s had a boner the entire time Stede’s been getting ready.

But nothing has prepared him for the way the inn door bangs open, and Mary comes striding through, shoving Doug in front of her so hard that he stumbles and lets out a genuine shriek.

Mary’s dressed in black leather, mostly. Tight pair of trousers with gorgeous heeled boots laced all the way over her knees. Leather corset on top, and a crimson blouse under that, billowing sleeves and tits rising out of the low scooped neckline. Lip rouge to match, even a little black lace mask over her eyes. She’s let her hair loose and there’s so much of it, Jesus, Ed doesn’t think he’s ever seen her with her hair properly down.

She looks at him like he’s a worm, and he nearly comes on the spot.

“Is this one cooperating?”

Stede shrugs, fully into it. “I think he’s got the potential to be a bit mouthy.”

“Hey—!”

Ed doesn’t get to finish protesting before Mary pulls a little flogger off her belt and strides toward him. “Don’t test me.”

He stares up at her in awe and doesn’t say a single word more. Just shakes his head and mimes locking his lips.

She drags Doug around like a sack of garbage and shoves him down beside Ed, where he crawls over on hands and knees. “Oh, thank god you’re here, I thought they’d only kept me.”

“Do you know this man?” Stede asks coldly.

Ed swallows, because he’s not that guy, never has been, and this is not that situation anymore, and he’s allowed to feel horny about the way they’re both staring at him like they don’t know if they want to fuck him or toss him overboard, and either could happen anytime.

“Yeah,” he says, trying to remember the whole bit. “Oh. Yeah, uh. I’m Jeff. He’s—”

“Doug,” he says, almost apologetically. And then he does apologise. “I’m so sorry, I couldn’t think of a cooler name.”

Happy #OFMDBisexualWeek to all who celebrate! Peaches, Cream, Whiskey Chapter 1/4 Mary/Ed/Stede 🩷💜💙 archiveofourown.org/works/92761471

Screenshot from ao3 of the fic “Peaches, Cream, Whiskey”. It is rated E and the relationship is Mary Allamby, Ed, and Stede. It is chapter 1 of 4.

The summary reads:
He always wants to make Ed happy, wants to give Ed everything he wants. And, if what Ed wants is to fuck his ex-wife... well, Stede was intrigued enough to say yes.

#wipwednesday for #OFMDBisexualWeek 🩷💜💙

Over the last three years, Mary and Ed have become close friends.

Between co-parenting family dinners, school events, and double dates, they've spent a lot of time together. The two of them go to concerts sometimes- they share a love of punk music that Stede will never comprehend- he watches movies or plays board games with Louis and Alma on those nights. Ed tags along with Mary (and Doug, more often than not) to this or that gallery, he's an accomplished graphic designer but fine art was never his thing, so he's interested in what they have to say about it.
Stede has gone with them a few times out of curiosity, though he prefers the bustle and grandeur of a museum.

And, as Ed and Mary have gotten to know each other better, the simmering attraction between them has only grown.

For #OFMDBisexualWeek I'd love to see a Stede who's a little confused by bisexuality at first. Not a rude or biphobic Stede, just a confused one. Like he finds out Ed is bisexual and it takes time for it to ~click with him.

For #WIPWednesday, a sketch from something @drcfxtina.bsky.social and I are working on for #OFMDBisexualWeek 🩷💜💙

A photo of a digital pencil sketch alongside a reference. The reference is an image of Ed Teach, clad in leather, long hair loose around his shoulders, looking down at Stede (not pictured) laying on the deck. The sketch emulates the pose and adds a motorcycle helmet tucked under one arm and a first aid kit slung over Ed's shoulder.
